Yes, we certainly do. But if you're on SNAP and you have kids to feed and you have to get in line at your local food bank before it opens because they run out of food by mid-morning, it might be a slightly more immediate issue.

The courts ARE saying the SNAP cutoff is illegal, because it is.

Serious question: At what point does fighting with everything they've got devolve into letting parents skip meals so that their children can eat? I work in state government and this is the MAIN issue I am hearing about from my boss' constituents. Our food pantries can barely keep it together.

The UN has been intentionally isolating Israel since at least the 1970s. I’m done with the UN. It’s a shame, because it was once a deeply empathetic, ethical and respectable organization. 10/7 was an attempt at genocide.

There are many fascist governments in the world doing terrible things to many people, but Israel is the one that is subject to rocket fire and terror attacks by its neighbors. I don't agree with settlers in the WEST BANK (why are we yelling?) but people get offended when Israel defends itself. (1/2)
