These are the dark arts of modern politics, folks. Leaks to favourable journalists, paying influencers to post rumours etc. The left needs to get on board with this stuff because the nice guy finishes last in politics (unfortunately)

Agreed. There's a complete lack of enforcement of road rules in Ireland. Drivers just do what they want, knowing that they won't get caught because there are almost no Gardai on the road.

In fairness, the copper on the street would have had no say in this. They would have been ordered to make these arrests. It's Starmer's government that's the real problem... and I thought Labour were supposed to be the good guys!

Yeah, I guessed that he had been insulted, but his response was that of an entitled brat. "My life is better than yours and always will be better than yours" is such an elitist response to being insulted. It just rubbed me up the wrong way. As he says himself, he's a "marmite" sort of person.
