We can tell if it is going to be a hot summer in NZ if 1) the Pohutukawa bloom early and 2) the manuka flower profusely. Cos of climate change we alternate between wet, windy summers causing flooding and hot dry summers causing droughts. Thought provoking in light of ICJ hearings on climate change.

I agree with Douglas. This is a great conference. Terrific international law scholars and small enough that you get to know a whole bunch of them. Sorry I can't be there: it conflicts with the ILC schedule. Sigh
Save the date for the world's best-sized international law conference!

The 32nd ANZSIL Annual Conference will be held Wednesday 2 July – Friday 4 July 2025 at the Australian National University.

The Conference Theme is: ‘International Law: Silence, Forgetting and Remembrance’.

Just joined Bluesky. Tried to fine an appropriate picture. So, I happened to be in Paris last week at a hearing and took this beauty. Will try to post, but I like reading all international law posts, and love pushing the 'like' button. I especially like the fun ones.
