Ringo Starr is turning 85 on July 7th. I just saw him in concert and he’s a great entertainer!

As a retired librarian, I love your post! I did know all of the Beatles birthdays…

Sweet dreams are made of 70. I’m 62. Nothing wrong with aging and Annie is still beautiful. But yes, I’m glad that Google exists. Do you know that Lennox is born on Christmas Day?

I would consider paying monthly but I don’t want to spend almost $100 yearly on a subscription. Amazon Prime allows people to pay $14.99 or so instead of over $120/month, for example. The Atlantic and other subscriptions should do this.

‘75 was a great year, Peter Frampton! Congratulations!

I hate when that happens. What was the song?

Yes, Beatles, I’d love to hold your hand(s).

Lovely. Do you still have the crayon scribbles? :)

It’s Sunday now but for cats, everyday is Caturday!

My cats have helped during this time…do you have a cat or other pet?

PBS is important but it’s not my cup of tea. I liked watching Henry Louis Gates’s “Finding Your Roots” and of course I watched it as a kid (I was too old for Sesame Street, though).

Facebook is really getting filled with garbage posts from groups that I don’t follow and don’t care to. I just want to see the posts from the people and groups that I’ve chosen. Then again, FB is around 20 years old.

In the 2020s, TV news is an old concept.

Looks like a younger version of today. :)

It’s always good to see a cat.
January 14, 2025 at 6:20 PM
I’m not watching anymore, I don’t care who they put on unless it’s Paul McCartney singing the news. I’m done.
January 14, 2025 at 6:17 PM
I’ll probably be listening to The Beatles.

On Tik Tok, there are cats galore but also music, various opinions by regular people, live events at discos, news, everything better than on TV. We’re around the same age, so you know that it’s not the good old days of the 70s and great TV shows. Do you think Tik Tok should stay or go?
January 13, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Tom what do you think of Tik Tok? I’m done with MSNBC; I’ll only watch it a few times when you’re on so that I can possibly see your cat Lily. I haven’t watched regular news since the election. And I’ve been a news consumer since the late 70s/early 80s.

Anything after London Town until Chaos and Creation. I heard about the album and picked it up from the library, just to see what it would sound like. I was very pleasantly surprised and have bought everything since.

‘73…I was really getting into music then. I was 10 years old. Hats off to the SEVENTIES!
