My biggest grievance with it is that once a card with the effect is played, it must be continuously tracked for the rest of the game. Regardless of if that card or any other card with the effect is in play.

Overall I think oops is at an acceptable power level for legacy and I enjoy the games I play against it. It has only shown to be super successful in this one B&R cycle and should be given more time. Thank you for having reasonable thought and data behind your ideas and thank you for the discourse!

The idea of completely killing a deck before trying to nerf it, when it’s something that some people obviously enjoy just doesn’t sit right with me. Especially when is only 6% of the meta game.

The only thing that that plan beats is faerie. Surgical or any other common gy hate card deals with that plan. And we’re talking about 4 sb slots vs 1 md slot. MJ can beat everything but leyline or RIP.

And just personal things I don’t like that I don’t think should exist is beanstalk because trying to play a fair game against it if you don’t have it in your deck is backbreaking. But that’s just on an enjoyment factor, so as stated previously
I don’t really think that’s a good reason for a ban.

But if something does need to go from oops I think it should be Memories Journey because it would vastly nerf the decks ability to play around hate without removing one of the only viable more budget friendly decks in the format.

I generally don’t like the idea of banning things on enjoyment factor, just because people enjoy doing different things in magic. It part of what makes the game great. I think entomb should go for sure and see how the meta shakes out.

I think the oops creatures are completely fine and I don’t think hermit Druid would be any better than breakfast. Fake futurism wrote an incredibly well thought out statement on why oops should stay in the format, as well as other opinions on the upcoming B&R

My point IS that Hermit Druid should be unbanned

Hot take, I hate that deck being back in the meta. So abysmal to play against. Would rather play against oops 5 rounds in a row than a single BO3 against beanstalk.
