I think it's a lot more prevalent an obvious now - there's a very definite line that you can draw between alternative or "pure" health to eugenics.

I feel like pro-life has always been, at some level, fascist/eugenicist. If you can keep the "wrong" people from upward mobility by ensuring they must have children they do not want/cannot afford, or if you can force those already poor into deeper poverty, the problem sorts itself out.

Hilariously, I've seen both of these at least six times.
