Given McD was sued for not explicitly warning about hot beverages, I expect the next lawsuit will come from a person with a frostbitten limb slathering themselves with “Hot Mustard” and hoping for instant relief.

I know HTML and CSS and would start to learn JavaScript, deeply. 😉
I also have a large pile of books waiting to be read. If you don't contribute to WordPress, you have more time to read. For me, Matt has already pulled the plug by claiming that “WordPress.org belongs just to him”.

I'm stunned how easy it is to fix and enhance code. Nonces are e.g. no big deal. With Cascade, the chat-box of Windsurf: "Add nonce verification and sanitize the global variable", it starts "thinking" for a couple seconds, repeats the question, provides code and explains, what it is good for. Done.

As many email providers check DKIM/SPF, wouldn't it be better to set a _registered_ e-mail address instead of wordpress@example.com?

Dass das ethisch alles schwierig ist, weil jemand mit einer negativen SCHUFA-Auskunft gesellschaftlich ausgegrenzt wird, ist ein anderes Thema (und für mich damals Grund genug, in der Bank nichts mit Krediten zu tun haben zu wollen).

Die Frage, ob z.B. für die Anmietung einer Wohnung eine SCHUFA-Auskunft nötig ist, kann man sicher diskutieren. Obwohl sich auch ein Vermieter nicht von Mitnomaden abziehen lassen möchte.

Ist dann übrigens auch für den Bankmitarbeiter nicht schön, aber immer noch besser, als sich abziehen zu lassen.

Wir haben die SCHUFA damals genutzt, um faule Kredite angezeigt zu bekommen.

Wenn dir jemand gegenüber sitzt, dich freundlich angrinst und um einen Kredit bittet, während er wegen Schulden bei drei anderen Banken bereits mit Haftbefehl gesucht wird, siehst du das anders.
