A small but imo entirely overlooked aspect of this new proposed hybrid mana rules change for #mtg commander is commanders whose color identity is dependent on hybrid mana. There's a few hybrid mana commanders from New Capenna, like my girl Evelyn here:

She was watching the Elfsong for the week due to a series of humorous circumstances—Alan’s vacation and Roveer’s kid on the way meant that no senior staff was around all week to actually close up the Tavern, and rather than making any of the normal waitstaff stay late or hiring someone for the interim, Scarlet had elected to just stay in and do it herself. “Really?” came a low, sardonic voice, proud in its low-born accent—the cadence of the word alone made Scarlet’s ears perk up immediately. “And yet the door was unlocked.”
