As you get older, the circle of friends tightens up and gets smaller. You learn who people truly are, and which ones are worth surrounding yourself with. Cutting the rest loose is hard, but not having to carry their deadweight feels rewarding

Had a friend asking me to rebrand a company logo for free. When I explained that I need a 50% deposit upfront, then the remaining 50% before file delivery, he got upset. I will never understand how people expect me to work for free, when they themselves would never do it if it were them 😅

Sad day: Since I was diagnosed with ASD as an adult, and have masked for entire life, I'll probably die without ever knowing who I actually am beneath the mask. It's difficult to find out when people close to me won't allow me to remove my mask, because it's, "too hard to deal with" #aspie
