In case you guys are having trouble following along with what’s going on with the #precure leaks, here’s a brief summary:
The Precure fandom is going BONKERS right now. Stuff is happening that, to my knowledge, has never happened in the franchise’s 20-year history. Not gonna share images or character names because Spoilers, but here’s a quick little timeline so you guys can grasp what’s up: Around Thanksgiving, the studio announced that the next season of Precure, set to start on February 1/2 depending on timezones, is gonna have an idol motif. That’s all they announced. Their intention was for us to be in the dark about the cast, lore, and staff until this coming weekend. First week of December, a zoomed-in picture of production artwork pops up online, showing a new character we hadn’t yet seen. Much of the internet thought it was fake. Last week, a magazine posted a teaser image for our next group, showing silhouettes of the team. Think Starter Pokémon teasers like the Black & White silhouettes. The one in the center matched the exact pose and silhouette of the zoomed-in character, proving that that character was in fact our next protagonist. This past weekend, somebody hops onto Mercari, a site that’s kind of like eBay where you sell your used merch that requires you to include your legal name, address, and other identifying info. What were they selling? Well, somehow, they got their hands on a coloring book for the upcoming season over a month early. They included photographs of the front and back covers, so we could now see our entire main cast. A few hours later, the listing went down. That would probably be the end of things, right? Nope! Shit gets even crazier. Around the same day that coloring book went up online, people’s blu-ray machines in Japan were able to access the TV guide for February early. The TV guide included a poster and plot summary for the upcoming season, a full list of all the important staff (director, head writer, character designer, etc.), and voice credits for 3/5 of the characters included in the poster and on the coloring book covers. The actual announcement is still a few days away. Who knows what else could pop up at this rate!

Hey, fellow #ridethecyclone fans, could I ask for your opinions? #saverickypotts
Ride The Cyclone seems like the perfect sort of show to be put on in my area; we have a local roller coaster called The Cyclone, so getting B-Roll would be easy. But I am a disabled actor, and considering the #saverickypotts debacle, I’m not sure if it would be morally acceptable to support the show or audition. What do you guys think?
