I agree to a point, but often times, money matters more. Just look at the medical device industry, it’s a business often built off of harm. Even those who do acknowledge the brokenness of the system have a hopelessness about it.

the momentum building might actually cause people to organize. i hope so, anyways. we need to be picketing in the streets to make change, not doom scrolling echo chambers.

I would guess they are hoping to reach audiences that are independent and those who voted red but are now regretting it. Unfortunately that algorithm isn’t going to allow those parties to even come into contact with their posts.
