good Q! not sure i totally remember now; maybe i just didn't pay close attention round 1 but i felt like the medellin mention slipped past me, the idea of trying to consolidate power so it'd be easier to manage, etc. i just remember feeling way more solid after the second viewing.

ok funny story: angie lee got me this for christmas in 6th grade (i think as a mcdonald's promo?) and it was the only movie i owned featuring keanu so i watched it ENDLESSLY. i can still sing the c.i.n.c.i.n.n.a.t.i cincinnati! song.

i finished it! sooooo good. off the rails for a bit but love how they tied it all together in the end.
