i'm sorry, i wasn't sure where you were located, i just know how stressful this can be especially given most docs for scoliosis are ortho surgeons. i have some links to some good info if you want, and some info on non-fusion approaches. i had a fusion at 15 and do not recommend lol.

look on srs.org they have a specialist finder tool- for a doc to be on the list a certain amount (can't remember the %) of their practice is dealing w scoliosis

depending on what it is, you can freeze a lot of things, just label and date them so you know what you have.. could use as easy reheat meals for future you and you solve your leftovers problem

this though. i have 2 rods, 2 connectors, and 24 screws and there's plenty i "can" do even though it causes me immense pain or risk to my body, and a lot of the time i will do these things anyway bc i don't want it to hurt, bc i can't/don't want to ask for help all the time, etc
