There’s probably more I have to say but I’ll cut the rant here for now. For better or worse I’m a
Diehard Pokémon fan so I’ll make a living dec before maybe buying the DLC 💀

It’s probably better in Scarlet than Violet with this point

But also the time travel element not coming until the verrrry end is crazy

the Pokédex is a pretty mixed bag. Flamigo is dumb but grew on me. I already had the type coverage on my team but it kept proving useful lol. But a bunch of them are forgettable and I’m not a huge fan of the paradox Pokémon, especially for their lore implications

Also why take away customization options, the MC got no rizz

Like it’s such a blank slate character but I could do that fine with previous protags and they could still stand on their own design wise

I do think the story was generally better than Arceus (and certainly SWSH) but there were moments where I got so confused, like the practicality of Operation Starfall. Part of that could be on me for dropping the game partway through but motives felt kinda wacky at times
