Designing a card for a sports car fan. The cars are sat on the pieces of paper I made them out of. They are the micro prototypes of the larger one I will make. There is no glueing, no sellotape, no pins - it’s all just folds…❤️

Unhappy Birthday to Me It's important to share, or so I've been taught, to show kindness to others, to be a good sport. But all of those teachings have taken a bump - for I share my birthday with Donald Trump. For years I knew not of this dark, dreadful fate, and with ignorant bliss I honoured the date - but then it got hijacked, sullied, gazumped by a self-serving bigot, a foul gibberlump. With him, I would share an infectious disease, a mouldy bread roll, an infestation of fleas, a romantic weekend at a toxic waste dump - but please, not my birthday, Mr. Tangerine Chump. Alternative dates he's welcome to try - 12th Febtember, 33rd July. But 14th June? In a lake, take a jump and find a new date, you deranged sewage pump. Brian Bilston

A beautiful starling reflection over a lake at Leighton Moss. It was on the tail end of a sunset and taken from inside a bird hide on the nature reserve. The colours in the photo are blue, peach, mustardy yellow, blacks & grey.

A pied flycatcher male sat in the midst of some branches of a tree. The sun was coming up and the little bird is quite silhouetted in the frame. It has rim light and so does the branch. It’s quite small in the frame but I like to see a bird in its environment - and not just sat on a stick.

There are seven Russian dolls lined up from back to front to camera. The middle one is leaning out just a tad. She is the only one in focus. I designed this set-up to depict my mums battle with dementia. I saw her as the same as everybody else but with little differences, quirks and traits. It also represented how my mum used to be - she stood out from the crowd with her beauty, her beautiful mind and her beautiful soul x Image taken over a decade ago…

It was a blistering hot day, the Anti Nuclear protesters were out in force and so were the Anti Fox Hunting brigade so, it was some surprise to the Lord Mayor f Barrow-in-Furness, Alf Scrote, that the prince was wearing the most unusual fox fur hat, complete with head and tail. The Price was sweating heavily and was being heckled by the protesters who were enraged at the Price wearing the fox fur hat. Curiosity got the better of the Mayor and he asked Charles why, given the heat and the presence of the protesters, was he wearing a fox fur hat? This was sheer madness. “It wasn’t my idea, it was her Majesties idea. At breakfast this morning I was asked by mother what my itinerary was for today and I told her that I was off to Barrow-in-Furness to launch a submarine!” said the Prince “mother looked at me, all quizzical and said “Barrow-in-Furness? wear the fox hat!”
