I am so sad about the passing of Rebecca Heineman. I got to meet her in person at GDC once, I told her about how the port of Out Of This World on SNES (that people thought wasn’t possible but she did) was one of my favorite games as a kid, and pushed me to get into games as a career. Loving today's news that the mysterious "fedora man" outside the Louvre heist was actually a 15-year-old museum visitor who dresses like a 1940s French detective all the time, just because. apnews.com/article/louv...

I really liked the new Frankenstein, but am kind of sad I have no one to talk to it about. Watching movies by yourself kind of sucks.

A ★★★★½ review of Frankenstein (2025)
Good adaptation. Some cheesy too on the nose parts, some bad CG, and sure it’s not as good as the book. No movie is perfect though, I still enjoyed it. I hope the action and spectacle is enough to dra...

I was impressed and inspired by the creativity and polish on display today by the Seattle area indie game developers showing their games at SIX. It was fun to take my annual light rail ride into downtown Seattle and see cosplayers on the streets from #PAXWest too.

I find people have a funny unwritten rule when reviewing games that the game is supposed to infinitely satisfy you. I see a negative Steam review for Umamusume (a ftp game) with 40 hours played complaining about it eventually getting too repetitive. 40 hours of free content was not enough!?

When I heard #iOS26 had a "Liquid Glass" effect, I assumed it would use the camera to make it look like the screen is made out of glass and you can see through the phone. I installed the beta and see that is sadly not the case! Would have been cool though, maybe one day.
