I think it was an "okay" call given the situation, but I think you may need to be more precise if multiple people misinterpreted what you meant. Learn to take some constructive criticism, it helps.

It's probably real, but it's not new. I worked for a couple of companies that used these. They provide more/better support so your product stays safe in transport. You still pop them, but it's a bit harder, and there are less to pop.
