Metal Gear is filled with second entries in its series. MGS2, Ac!d 2, heck.. MGSV was split into two games! Our next run celebrates the very first 2 in the series, with TheoryuK1 running Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake!

Tech checkers are essential for ensuring runners are prepared ahead of time, solving any potential issues before the marathon has started, and allowing for speedy intermissions once the event is underway. They also allow Staff to focus on other event prep.

Races and co-op runs often become the highlights of a marathon, so we've worked hard to make them feel special and encourage runners to submit them. But the workflow we've set up means we're in a good spot to take on layout challenges whenever we get a unique submission!

We had feedback after PPM1 that our 2p layouts had a lot of wasted space. We've only had a couple of 2p runs since then, so we hadn't prioritized going back and amending these layouts. Here we've got examples of our 16:9 and 4:3 layouts first designed for PPM1:
