He passed away from FeLV complications many years ago now. The "First of His Name" was added recently when it became apparent that the newest cat, Amir, is almost more Harry than Harry was. His ability to precede AND trip one is unparalleled.

I was all set to build a catio, but the Kugelprinzessin has Opinions about the outside, namely that she wants no part of it unless she is safely inside. She's even unhappy when the door is open for too long, because apparently the Outside can get in and That Is Not OK.

We've had, technically, four - my husband is a sucker for black cats. Currently, the Kugelprinzessin is a tortie and Amir is at least Siamese-ish.

Bruno, being black, blended in with absolutely no furniture but he did not care. His philosophy was "I am the Cat Who Walks By Himself, and all places are alike to me. Also, I live here now."
