For me - I played both and I had more fun playing Silksong. But both were really good. I just like Metroidvanias a bit more than JRPGs.

Thats just normal - and mostly a bubble thing. For me it was the opposite: had multiple friends play and talk to me about clair obscure - but nobody of those played silksong.

But out of all, I think the Taroemaki one is the one I really like the most. Was an awesome performance so all I had to do was press the button - The picture almost took itself

Movement will always be the most important thing in a metroidvania for me, and prime 4 right now feels like walking through halo 4. Pretty but ultimately boring :(

I think combat is the last thing that needs to be fixed - the problem with Prime 4 is its occasional overreliance on combat, not the quality of the combat itself.

If exploration, level design, and thus movement were more interesting, the combat would be good enough.
