(basically, this is what i believe is a fundamental issue with a platform of this scope)

still tho i'd be arguing this even if they were still the same as they were like 10 years ago, i just dont think social media, nearly limitless creative freedom, and children mix well, there has to be some sort of compromise

they renamed friends to connections to make it more corporate friendly, the dating aspect is just a thing being thrown around as an example of them wanting to be some sort of all-encompassing communication app for everything (still very bad tho and arguably even worse than most people realize)
