I am a proponent of working in a hospital. Doing a job like patient care tech or Patient Services Specialist, gets your foot in the door and doesn’t require anything special. And there’s plenty of room to move to something internally (I moved to IT).

It’s also been almost 2 decades now… 😳

I don’t think I ever got my full certification, as NYS requires you to also have a masters (for which you usually also need students to do your projects with) and I didn’t get that before switching to IT

I would love some of those resources when you have a moment (maybe pinned in my discord). I don’t foresee myself getting back into teaching, but would be nice to have a backup plan….
