This is what I came to post, just a ridiculous hodgepodge of nonsense units.

That one's easy, just get an AI to design an AI powered robot to do it!

Seriously, the struggle of learning what buttons do what thing and how it all fits together is half the fun, at least for me.

I'm curious if it tickles the same part of your brain as a historian, trying to figure out how systems of the past function vs. systems in game? Or too distant?

It also breaks down the changes per-riding with an explanation given for why they made the choices they did, so you can control-F your riding and see exactly what's up for you specifically.

In credit to the commission they readily admit the absurdity of the latter, and even have a plan B map in case it proves too unpopular. The report is also pretty clear that the right way to fix these issues would be to just have more constituencies, alas they were given a fixed number to work with.

It's a pretty fair redrawing I think (as a Calgary dweller). The exec summary is worth a read, overall two seats moved from rural areas into the cities to reflect population growth. Some urban-rural splits that mostly make sense (like Calgary-Elbow Valley), and one that is bonkers (Calgary Okotoks)

What manufacturer? My VW hasn't really ever done that.

Oh it's wonderful, definitely worth getting if you ever do go new.

Seriously, I love my adaptive cruise so much, and can't get enough. Lane assist is a bit more dubious, but my experience is that this varies tremendously between manufacturers.

Play some Paradox Interactive games (Crusader Kings, Europa Universalis, etc.) everyone is terrible at them (at first) and that learning curve is half the fun. Or maybe that's just my ADHD brain talking.

A good vid. As someone who watched a couple Sabine videos about a year back because I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with this "Crisis in Cosmology" that was all over youtube thumbnails (and rapidly got turned off by the anti-science stuff), I don't see you two as in the same genre at all

It's also shameful seeing Hardcore History so far up the list, easily the worst history podcast.

Moon (2009). Putting Sam Rockwell in a Moon base with only a robot to interact with works delightfully.

Not to mention that said mistress was 16 when they became an item, while MacArthur was 50.

While we're talking about pay rates, how much of the 7k USD / mo that Patreon suggests you pull in there actually goes to you? I've often been surprised by how high those numbers get for a lot of creators, but I'm also assuming that's before Patreon (or the IRS) pulls their share.

Just using the term in the old Byzantine period Roman sense, where everyone to the east is a Persian and anyone to the west is a Frank.
