isolating yourself because you know you’re different and you feel like you’re disgusting and no one will understand. but the thing about not seeking out community is you will never find people who understand without actively looking.

the feeling of going through puberty and feeling like your body has been violated and it’s alien to you and changing in ways you don’t understand. and going through to adulthood having to cope with that when it seems like everyone else just adjusted to that easily.
