Why's he in jail? 😭
July 22, 2025 at 4:41 PM
You're the idiot here. Clearly I'm talking about lawsuits and civil/criminal prosecutions, not real estate deals 😂 nobody on earth calls a real estate transaction a "court case".
July 18, 2025 at 11:03 PM
First of all, the word is "lawfare", a portmanteau of "law" and "warfare". Second, the lawfare argument relies on the notion that Trump is completely innocent. What's more likely, that Trump's had dozens of court cases over the years because people just hate him, or because he's actually a criminal?

Bosch was on that good shit 😂

Only problem: I've gotta live here 😬 btw I've been to most of the states on this list and they all suck. Almost everybody wants to leave, it's just a matter of opportunity.

My boy ✊ he's been my favorite since the 90s.

No limit.
July 5, 2025 at 5:56 AM
How do you even write satire at this point, when reality is so absurd?
July 4, 2025 at 5:28 PM
Fox News, right-wing talk radio, and dumbfuck "Ancient Aliens" type shows really melted people's brains.
June 5, 2025 at 1:56 AM
You'll have to remind me what your question is, I'm not sure what you're referring to.
June 5, 2025 at 1:53 AM
That's quite literally NOT the kind of race Hogg has said he's talking about, though. He's explicitly said he's not targeting "front-line" members facing tough reelection battles. The stated goal is to target complacent Dems in safe seats in order to revitalize the party.
June 4, 2025 at 10:22 PM
This rests on the premise that Manchin and Sinema were uniquely bad, and that there weren't others willing to fill that role if necessary. We certainly need to elect more Democrats, but we ALSO need to primary the Democrats who are useless or actively harmful.
June 4, 2025 at 9:42 PM
When did Hogg say he wants "fewer" Democrats? I'm not saying his plans are fully fleshed out, I'd certainly like him to be more articulate. But the core of the idea is to replace these old, indolent, useless Dems with fresh new blood who are willing to fight. Through democratic primaries, btw.
June 4, 2025 at 9:33 PM
There aren't enough of them because they suck. They suck in large part because many of their donors don't want progressive policies, so they pay them to suck. Democrats would win more elections if they didn't suck. That's my stance.
June 4, 2025 at 8:52 PM
Like, how do you think you GET to a Congress that's willing to pass something like that? Not with these do-nothing corporatists who only care about serving their donors.
June 4, 2025 at 8:44 PM
Build Back Better would have been awesome, it couldn't pass because of exactly the kind of Democratic party politics I'm talking about. How many Democrats were out there running on a platform like that with their whole chest? Instead you get this mealy-mouthed bipartisanship stuff that never works.
June 4, 2025 at 8:42 PM
I recognize that things were different then. I also recognize that we've been trying the "triangulation" strategy since Reagan, and it has resulted in our politics slipping further and further to the right, as Republicans continue to push for their agenda and Democrats refuse to fight.
June 4, 2025 at 8:32 PM
FDR wasn't perfect by any means. That was a stain on his presidency, no question. How about we push for FDR-style policies, but make it equitable this time? Do you think that's just not possible? Isn't it worth trying? Standard Dem political strategy has lost us EVERYTHING, it's time for a change.
June 4, 2025 at 8:29 PM
You mean barely squeaking in by the skin of their teeth, sometimes with margins so thin that they lose the EC even though they win the popular? FDR was our most progressive president ever, won 4 terms, and had supermajorities in both houses. But yeah, let's definitely never try progressivism.
June 4, 2025 at 7:50 PM
Because real progressivism hasn't been tried in decades, at least nationally. We've been TRYING the "pivot to the center" strategy, and it continues to fail us. It turns out that being halfway between Republican and Democrat makes you not very appealing to anyone as a candidate.

It's just indicative of Harris's disconnect from regular people, because there IS a group of people who absolutely love Liz Cheney: the establishment elites she surrounds herself with.
June 2, 2025 at 9:53 PM
Basically every young person was screaming at her to take a stand against the genocide in Gaza, and instead she was like "hey look at my good friend Liz Cheney that absolutely nobody likes."
June 2, 2025 at 9:43 PM
Sorry, but it was pretty bad. Harris and Walz came out hot, but quickly pivoted to the standard Democrat playbook that's been failing for ages now: take your own voters for granted, and do everything you can to court Republicans. She passed up so many opportunities to distance herself from Biden.
