Lately I've been really into making like. Character lists for specific OCs? Trying to break them down to what I know about them I guess. It's been a nice exercise in learning more about my characters, and I'm hoping it'll make them more rounded when I'm writing. Here's part of one list:
A bulleted list: slow to pick up new ideas very high standards for himself and others neat freak nonjudgmental cerebral curious encouraging skeptical about instincts lies by omission discusses things too much (rather than just doing them) tends to forget about people he isn't super close to seems distant and out of reach often compartmentalizes to shit only cries in private when frustrated or sad hates showing vulnerability, "bad side" hates showing "ugly parts" goes logic mode when upset excellent mediator projects infallibility, rarely shows negative emotions between you and me, this is part of Adesanya's list!

this is a major reason why she is now so vehemently anti-religious. She doesn't 'get' why anyone would worship something so violent. She tends to butt heads w her religious friends (like Dov Ber or Masat, if you know em!) pretty often.

I do not know when, I will not feel it when my hand grasps your throat and clenches. but I am creeping, persistent to the end, I will surely drown you, body limp and wet, and we will revel in the filth together, at the edge of oblivion and beyond. I will greet you from above, certain we will not meet again. I feel like pestilence, each feathertouch of skin to surface a threat, oozing a viscous poison that permeates and lasts. one must approach me with a hazmat, me, who risks it all, who looks on as you collapse, certain you were safe, I feel I will reach you. and I do not know when. but every body piled in the wagon has my eyes, I am a terrible father, incapable of recognizing his children. and you do not know me, orphaned and shaking, saliva collecting in your mouth, if I have sired you then I have abandoned you. my monster of rot, precious in your innocence. A large moth made of pony beads. I'm not sure what kind of moth it is, maybe a garden tiger moth? Its body is brown, orange, and white striped and its wings are mostly brown, orange, with the illusion of grey and white stripes on the outer sides. There's a tiny accent of teal near the bottom, too. My hand is next to the moth for size, it's about the height of my palm to my fingertips and maybe twice as wide.

A mirror selfie of me, Dov Ber! I am wearing a grey shirt which says "Antigua Cat Café Guatemala" (but it's backwards, because it's in the mirror). I have red beaded earrings and a strawberry scrunchie on too. Most importantly, I have a face mask on that is made of pony beads! They are brown, tan, black, white, and pink, creating the look of a brown bear's open mouth and fangs. It is in the general shape of a surgical mask. Another angle of the mask, showing the mouth from a more forward angle. You might be able to notice a few errors, most notably a swap between black and white beads that make the teeth look a little off. On the ear loops there are a few small letter beads, which are hard to read from here, but between you and me, they say "Dov Ber"!

A picture of a weird corner in my living room which has a sort of hole built into it, perhaps for book shelves or something. In the corner is a very large mass of blankets, pillows, and comforters, artfully arranged so it looks sort of like a black futon. Atop the black blanket is another black blanket, which has many different coloured stars and hearts. On top of that blanket is a large third blanket, which is circular and looks like a tortilla. On the walls is a lot of wall art, including a poster from Dragon Ball Z, a Japanese poster for the movie Godzilla vs. Biollante, a stuffed animal of Kapp'n from Animal Crossing attached to the wall by a hook, and perler bead sprite art of Nightcrawler from the X-Men. There are string lights along the walls, too. Another angle of the nest, sort of from below. Here, you can more clearly see the many stuffed animals around the back perimeter of the best. Most of them are various versions of Pikachu. There is also a Build-A-Bear wild dog, a Treecko, and a Squirtle wearing a black bonnet. Here, more wall art is visible. There is a tapestry of the rapper Pitbull with poorly-edited on cat ears, blush, and collar that says "MR WORLDWIDE." the bottom of the tapestry is not visible, but between you and me, it says "MR. WORLDWIDE IS A CATBOY." Above him is a long tapestry of the K-Pop group BTS, each of them wearing various shades of denim and staring at you soulfully. Beside these tapestries is a poster of Alphonse Mucha's art, featuring a woman in a white dress. Mostly out of frame, to the left of Pitbull and BTS is a poster of the Rider-Waite-Smith version of the tarot card Strength.
