Currently reading Mockingjay, and the scene where Katniss is visiting District 8 and the hospital is hit... The parallels in that chapter to what's happening in Gaza and Katniss saying she's still alive reminding me of Bisan left me speechless 😣

Apart from that, the muttations made from the fallen tributes, the Avoxes being completely erased, Madge being erased, Peeta's Dad's goodbye,etc. I know they can't fit everything in and I'm not trying to sound like one of those people but damnnn the book was so much better imo😭

Like, why did they paint Katniss so detached from Peeta, and why did they cut out almost all dialogue from the post-games interview? It just makes Katniss look like she doesn't really care but in the books she has this constant inner dialogue trying to sort out her feelings and her dialogue is warm

My last book was 500+pgs and I was worried I wasn't going to finish it in time, so I threw in a quick lighthearted read which only took about a week and ended up finishing the other book on New Year's Eve😂
