Silver Beech (Petula bendula) is an able pioneer that was one of the first trees to colonize the newly exposed earth up here in Scandinavia some 12000 years ago when the last Ice age thawed. 💛

Beautiful Virginia Greeper, boldly climbing where no other vine has climbed. 😊

Because it spreads so aggressively, Virginia creeper has become an invasive species in parts of Europe and other regions outside of its native range. (and it don´t care) ❤️

Some trees, like poplar, naturally shed their leaves later in the season add the urban heat island effect and you find Black Poplars like these who have not received a memo about yellowing leaves yet in November.💚
