That's not what he said, at all. "Authentic casting" which means Phil LaMarr shouldn't play a Japanese character, he should play black characters. It is racism.

He could dub for Solo Leveling or other Korean stuff, but you're not about to see Korean characters pop up in anime or western animations...real diversity is letting whoever deserves a roll, GET the role.

VAs shouldn't have to look like their characters. That's segregation.
