A snow day would be the perfect time to test a 3D theory known as Gaussian Splatting: a way to capture the directionality of a ray of light and reproduce it in 3D space.

The cool part about Gaussian Splatting is that it works with reflective surfaces unlike other ways

I have a ton of respect for musical photographers of the past... I took my Leica M2 to a Ska show and learned just how hard it is to focus a rangefinder camera in that sort of lighting situation and chaos. The fact that anyone ever nails any shot is a miracle.

This Pentax Spotmatic was in BEAUTIFUL shape externally. it SEEMED to shoot nicely, but after a roll of film through it it's not advancing the film properly, resulting in double exposures and has a pretty severe light leak.

Better late than never right? Today I FINALLY got my bus setup with it's holiday lights, including the world famous Evil Lightup Christmas Llama. With less than a week to Christmas, and the annual VW Holiday Lightup Cruise this Sunday I'm just squeaking by!
