we have the big sleeper car on the next leg of our trip - "roomettes" the rest of the way. sort of a cozy bunk beds situation overnight and an enclosed two seater room with table during the day. but all meals included!

it does have the functionality and i never like, fail to get it to work, it just has more friction IME than other ereaders. also possible this has been improved w software updates, i think i'm one or two updates behind so YMMV. just something to be aware of

i really like my kobo but it does sometimes struggle with libby downloads - you need to log out and log back in sometimes to get it to work. but its easy to put any ebooks or fics on there, supports many file types, great battery life, crucially not an amazon product which is important to me

just dropped my status at work for basically this reason, but also went back to nights so i wouldnt Have to pick up. i have a chill PRN elsewhere that I can also take more hours at for approx equivalent pay, which does wonders for my ability to do my time in our small baby unit lmao

love my colleagues who feel called to nicu and love doing that work but i am just working for a paycheck and its been miserable lately. if i have one more shift w multiple micropremie admissions im quitting
