I suspect many who voted to leave wanted to see less brown faces in our communities. Of course, Brexit had no positive impact on this. Oh, and there’s this: look how many couldn’t be bothered to vote (so probably don’t want to leave)…

I was lucky enough to volunteer at the joint Deal and Dover Repair Café yesterday. What a stunning venue! It was a little poorly lit for detailed work but I managed to repair a set of fairy lights and to remove a melted dinosaur from a toaster! This was in the newly restored Maison Dieu in Dover.

I was lucky enough to volunteer at the joint Deal and Dover Repair Café yesterday. What a stunning venue! It was a little poorly lit for detailed work but I managed to repair a set of fairy lights and to remove a melted dinosaur from a toaster! This was in the newly restored Maison Dieu in Dover.
@epicemily.bsky.social and I arrived at Malaga Maria Zambrano station for the first leg of our journey back to the UK. Next stop, Barcelona.
