Those flyers look like a lazy attempt to frame actual protesters for this violent crime. Who writes “no kings” on printer paper with sharpies to bring to a march? I hope the suspect is found and brought to justice, and that protesters can safely protest executive overreach.

Evil, out of touch, idealistic, corporate sellouts… something else… any combination of these and/or other qualifiers… it’s what I’ve come to expect these days from just about anyone with an R tacked after their name.

It is kind of like the Beer Hall Putsch in a sense. Attempted uprising fails, person who organized it tries to distance himself and then gets legitimized with a term in office, where he can do quite a lot of harm. Hopefully I’m wrong on the analogy.
