There's some people who don't do well with caffeine, and some who have specific medical conditions could need to avoid it, but beyond that we have decades of research that says in moderation it's totally fine. JFC people can have little a caffeine as a treat!

Exactly! But if your coworkers compost like I do, there will always be fruit flies inside! When it comes to warmth, coziness, and friends inside > outside

Jorts your poor coworkers! I'm sure it was hilarious, but hopefully you got it out of your system? Because all that is out there is just a lot of cold!

You shouldn't have to learn about it, but I did! Because these devices are also really helpful if towers go down due to a natural disaster or if our dear leader besides to turn them off. It can work as a communicator but also just as a GPS.

Yeah I got my fosters at 5 weeks (Three of them were over a pound, but Manny the one I kept was only 14 oz!) and it was my job to get them to 2 lbs. they were all little blue-eyed babes.

I can't deny that evidence! I don't know if there is scientific research on this but I wonder which is more predictive, the feet or the ears? I would guess the feet. One big surprise fostering kittens was I forgot that like human babies their eye color would change!

He really wasn't a super beefy looking kitten, some you can tell are going to be big, but not McQueen. And nobody saw that tail coming!

The conservative mind cannot fathom genuine compassion and care so all acts of it are considered virtue signaling. As a union organizer I can tell you that actual virtual signaling is the academic who has posters on their walls about diversity and inclusion but won't sign their union card.

Buy Nothing on Facebook, If it's clear that it's something for a pet people will go to great lengths to help! You're not supposed to use it to find homes for animals, but if you ask for support for an animal you're almost guaranteed to get it.

Back in the 90s we had a decent earthquake in Oregon and it was early morning during spring break and I remember being so annoyed to wake up early and my friends were too so I think annoyance is a common first reaction before fear even!

To the degree that there is any creedence to the idea of "Children who eat dirt are healthier" (which is really not clear cut at all and based on a study in Germany that observe that children on farms or who had more siblings got sick less) that only applies to bacteria. No virus is healthy!
December 7, 2025 at 5:44 PM
Yes actually science does study this! Covid both damages T cells and does something strange to neutrophils akin to reprogramming. If children seem sicker, it's because they are. The two lies of "immunity debt" and "C19 doesn't affect children" have had incredible destructive staying power.

Can you ask him to bring back the HBO after dark shows that they have discontinued? Real Sex was an aclaimed, mostly woman made, series made in response to AIDS, compassionately and sensitively looking at different forms of sexuality.

Which country do they think they're loyal to? Israel, to bring about the rapture? Or Russia because Putin is so tough and cool?

A receptionist of a vet told me that cats often have the opposite personality at the vet as at home. My kind, stoic yet friendly Butters was labeled a spicy purrito during all of his orthopedic appointments because he was in pain, but now that he's better he actually loves the vet once we're there!

"I want you to get married, I wanted to have 9 children and if you just spend 5 minutes with each one that's 45 minutes all to myself and I can at least get a massage or something" I'm not saying it's a coherent theory of capitalism and family life but it's saying something 😆
