71,851 complaints CANCELLED!

I don't recall getting feedback from them myself either. Presumably they were passed my details.

I wonder what effect 71,851 complaints to Ofcom about Ofcom would do.

They've been infected by the fake news mind virus. It's a pandemic. If only there was a vaccine.

Awesome thank you! Well try that and tell them exactly why they are being closed.

My other half has emptied her accounts for the same reason but couldn't find a way to close them online or a number to call to do so. Did you call them? Could you share the number please?

Think it was 100k+ iirc. It was huge.

No.

Indeed, the Labour/Atlee election victory after the war could be seen as a message that the sacrifices of war were not for the benefit of the British state but for the good of it's citizens, the country. They needed and wanted change.

It's tragic that Labour is now so lost.

Like I said, defending state & country often intersect but it's possible to defend ones country without defending the state like the Free French fought for France but not for the French Vichy or Nazi state.

If we don't separate state & country, reconciliation after war is very difficult.

I'm a bit old for that now and I've done my bit already quite frankly but I'd happily join the 21st century equivalent of the home guard if they needed me.

Don't conflate defending the state with defending your country though. Not the same thing at all even if they do often intersect.

Shrinkflation. Even worse, I've just noticed Aunt Bessie's dumplings have shrunk.
December 15, 2025 at 8:03 PM
How is that justified? Surely goes against article 8.

Nobody is suggesting that and not everyone in Iran needs asylum. Stop spinning you'll get dizzy.
December 14, 2025 at 3:28 PM
But for every 1 in, you need a 1 out, so how will it ever fairly assess asylum claims in number?

Is it fair to say to a person with a valid claim-Sorry, you can't have asylum because we don't have anyone to deport right now...

Or-Sorry, Iran's not on the list this month so nocandoasylum for you?
December 14, 2025 at 8:47 AM
This is the 1in/1out process isn't it?

Works like a lottery where you get randomly picked from a pool after a phase 1 and 2 selection?

So far about 150 migrants have entered/been returned under the scheme and about 13,000 have entered by small boats.

Doesn't seem to be working that well.

I was at Schiphol Airport of all places years ago and they had the Milkmaid as part of a Dutch masters exhibition. I was horrified to see the sunlight on the painting and then realised it came from the artists eye.

Such masterful use of the brush, paint and colour as here.

And then hopefully Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau Wales, a Green and pleasant England and a united Ireland.

We can then consign the corrupted British establishment to history.

A velvet divorce and then forward "stronger together" in Europe!

What a waste of resources that is though. Not to mention the effect on two people especially. One exposed as a racist, the other a young A&E doctor.

Don't you think the resources and efforts would be better spent dealing with the backlog of rape and sexual assault cases instead?
December 13, 2025 at 5:30 PM
Which of the 43 claims that were dismissed do you think they will try and appeal?
December 13, 2025 at 3:58 PM
"The claimant argued that the evidence from Mr Borwick meant that the second respondent was lying. We concluded that that was not correct. It was inaccurate in part, but in our view honestly so.”

So there you are, impartial legal experts, judges an' all saying you are talking tosh.
December 10, 2025 at 3:17 PM
Of the IT "Specialist" Mr Borwick, the tribunal said;

"These matters taken cumulatively led us to conclude that a material part of his evidence was not reliable. That included the issue of the screenshots which he suggested had been manipulated by the second respondent."

And also.....
