Learned about a new moth today. Southern purple mint moth, which is as pink and yellow as a rosy maple moth, but with a very pointy brown head and such. Also so pretty! And small

Had to see if I even remembered how to make dice still. I poured a set on my birthday in my cheapo 9-piece Amazon mold, and it was good enough to convince me I still kind of knew what I was doing

There was also the bird I gave my grandmother last sept. She loved it so much, carried it around everywhere, that it was the first thing the family thought of to put in the casket memory drawer when she passed away last month at 98. I don’t connect easily with my family, so this meant a lot

A few things swayed me otherwise. There was the guy who came back a year later at the local pen show I help at to tell me how much he still liked the dice he bought from me last year. I remember that set - hurried to paint it overnight to bring back the next day so he could buy it

Most recent set of dice I’ve finished, for a psychological horror campaign set in the Woods. I liked the look of deliberately difficult numbers to evoke fey trickery, and for the high numbers to be visible but evoke the cost of blood to be paid.
