It took too long for too many to admit that fascism was here, or that the gestapo was here. It took two executions in the street for the scales to fall from their eyes. Now the holocaustal camps are here--producing corpses already. For wherever he is, the fascist's commonest creed is mass murder.

NYT is Pravda

The same reason the NYT hasn't called for Trump's impeachment as it once did for Nixon's. They've picked their side--it's not America's.

Brooks on the Renee Good murder: "As to the events of what actually happened, I'm not going to render a judgment on what happened, because we're going to have an investigation. I will leave it to them." Mike Johnson would be proud.

Yes, and they desperately want us to believe they’re going to get away with it all because they know that whether they do or not depends on us--is totally out of their hands--and that is deeply terrifying to them. Their fantasies of control are just that.

In 1974 the Chicago Tribune published a three-part editorial calling for Nixon's removal. The NYT also called for Nixon's impeachment. Why doesn't it call for Trump's impeachment now? Where is the courage of our so-called fourth estate now when our very democracy is at stake?

Speaking of denial and complacency, if not a total dereliction of duty, why doesn't the @nytimes.com editorial board call for Trump's impeachment?

Strange we don't hear the madding crowd screaming out now:
Canada has a right to defend itself.
Greenland has a right to defend itself.

"They cannot defend Greenland." "We are in the process of the second American Revolution, which will remain bloodless if the left allows it to be." The good news is that these lunatic supremacists are so pathologically entitled, they never see the fight coming—and neither their inevitable defeat.

“I say if the Germans had only had their own Gestapo, they couldn’t have caused half the harm they did. Yes, they killed people in the street, but it was the French police who helped.” (from THE SORROW AND THE PITY)

So we're sans Congress, and SCOTUS just feeds the beast. That leaves the press, the fourth power of our democracy: it can't just report on its end, but reveal its enemies and defend the republic to the hilt. What major newspaper has the courage to call for Trump's impeachment in the Framers' names?
