All of the M.A.G.A candidates like Dr. Oz that lost in the 2022 so called Red Tsunami will get cushy cabinet jobs, get some ‘experience’ and run again in 2026. I can see Fetterman struggling in a de-election bid.

I’m glad I now know who Tim Waltz is after he chose to run as Kamala’s VP. He seems so wholesome, intelligent and competent. I look forward to following his career closely.

The Republican Party has a few rising stars and candidates who could realistically compete for the presidential nomination in 2028 (Vance, Gabbard, deSantis).
Who does the Democratic Party have who could realistically compete. Pete Buttigieg? Hopefully a fresh face bursts onto the scene.

It seems like the majority of users on Bluesky quit X and moved here. I’m curious to hear if anyone continues to use X and Bluesky.

I feel a lot of people closely aligned with Donald Trump and the M.A.G.A movement will show their true colours and betray him. I expect to see a lot more fired cabinet picks and Trump loyalists turn on him, write books and appear on news shows condemning him.

Bernie Sanders condemning the Democratic Establishment for losing the working class and agreeing to work with the Trump administration on Credit reform isn’t something I ever thought would happen.
The last thing the Democratic Party needs is to infighting and losing progressive support.

Do people feel it is still accurate to say the Democratic Party represents the working class, disaffected communities and low-income people struggling who need hope? The Democratic Party shift to college educated, middle to upper class urban voters may not necessarily be a bad thing.

Let’s be honest Pete Buttigieg wasn’t qualified to be Secretary of Transportation. He was given the job as a token appointment as a rising star of the Democratic Party. Sean Duffy may be a Fox News host and former MTV star but his 8 years in the House of Representatives make him more qualified.

Matt Gaetz is exactly who Donald Trump is looking for in an Attorney General. A brash, controversial, anti-establishment political pariah who will above all else be blindly loyal to Trump. Gaetz will tear down and gut the Department of Justice and use the same ‘Lawfare’ on Trumps political enemies.
