The upgrades gotten in Act 2 really impact how battles flow but don’t make it impossible to progress. You see the bonds Hornet forms with characters mature and how they have influenced each other. Specially with Sherma. Towards the end of Act 2 there’s plenty of left unfinished but that’s for Act 3
