Formed in 2021, PIP is the largest party on the Castle Point local council, winning all 24 councillors seats it contested in the 2024 local elections. CPBC is the only local council in mainland England to be fully represented by Independent councillors.

Any ideas why the Conservative ECC may have cancelled elections this month and voted themselves a 3 year extension without a public mandate?

The dvlpr appeal into the council REFUSING permission for 173 dwellings on green belt at Brook Farm started Wed 15th. Thnks to residents for filling the public gallery. Photo shows just some of the PIP cllrs that attended, giving strong statements supporting residents Judgement expected in 6-8 wks.
