11cm / approx 4.5" hailstones. Sure glad they did not hit here in that storm yesterday. The storm was strong enough in places to rip roof sheeting off, flip a car and down trees.

It's Caturday, this furry nugget is Merlin. Merlin belonged to my Mum, he was her dream kitty. On Thursday Mum woke to find him breathing slow and hard. He had an x-ray, then when he was put on the table he had a heart attack and couldn't be revived. He was 10 yo. His lungs were full of fluid, or

Pic of a Joey I picked up off a road in 2018. No Mum in sight and a car full of young lads tried to run over it, crushing part of its tail. I flagged a Semi to slow down so I could scoop it up and take to a rehab. It's wrapped up in my jacket to give some idea on the size of the poor bub.

We have a long haired cat and a long haired dog (Keeshond), we don't use rollers as they are useless, too much fur for them to be useful. We have to go a brush to get their fur off...us, the sofa, beds, anything fabric. Vac every day, lucky I love them both. Arwen & Kira.

Arwen von Fluffypants, love her beyond words, but thus furry freak has decided since her resurrection (she was resuscitated several times over 90mins at vet 2 months ago), that 3 am is party time and I am her dance floor. I’m exhausted, she is a happy 14yo gogo dancer…apparently!

Every morning, I give Arwen a pat as I walk by to let the dog outside. When Kira returns I have to give belly rubs and when she least expects it, pill her. She gets treats. Then I go wrangle Arwen to give her her asthma puffer. She’s not impressed, ever! New routine for us, but both doing well.

Kira, being 100% feral this morning. Biggest temper tantrum, fluffy ball of energy. So we took her to the park for a walk and now she feels much better. So do we. She doesn’t know it yet, but she’s getting a bath, blow dry and brush today.

It’s 1.45am here on the East Coast of Australia. Woke at 1 to find my girl missing. Princess Arwen was outside, in the rain! So now it’s bath time to get dry 🤣 She is so damn happy right now ♥️ she has a secure yard, guess she just wanted to party in the rain tonight.
