Seconding this - although I'd also suggest using cotton swabs (with the alcohol) on the contacts as they can be a little bit gentler than a brush. You're just cleaning the surface so it *shouldn't* require any force.

I think its really funny that he's acting like such a bigshot when it seems like his entire filmography is derivative slop... guy definitely has an ego.
