Pretty much always for both.
Most of the stuff I've written has dedicated soundtracks. And the vary from psytrance, through folk metal to kpop.

I've been recently binging the jodorverse starting with the Metabaton cycle. Also well worth a read, though visually I preferred the first one done by Gimenez.

It's bonkers, yet weirdly relevant on so many levels. Kinda proves that with a bit of will and a good shovel one can find meaning almost anywhere. Also listening to Agent Cormac novels narrated by Rick Jerrom, which always reminds me SF can be fun and weird.
