I can’t believe it’s been 10 years already. I still have it hooked up and it works great. The remote had its flaws for sure, but I actually prefer it to the latest version.

I had an opportunity to see Jane Goodall speak in San Francisco not long ago, but unfortunately couldn’t make it. Still remember watching her on TV for the first time as a kid. Such an incredible human being: kind, curious, and above all courageous. Goodbye and thank you, Jane, you will be missed.

I am not using em dashes as much anymore because it makes me feel people will think I had AI write for me. I do sneak in the occasional en dash, but only for value ranges.
