Somehow, I am not going to acknowledge the holiday today. It’s like when someone blows out the candles but spits all over the cake. Not eating it.

I bought an EV on 12/31/24. Through the Feds, state, the dealership and Costco I got $15,350 off the sticker price.
Yesterday I drove 47 miles on errands. I cost me less than $1.00 in electricity. ($.94)
If you drive a gas car that gets 26 mpg and find gas at $2.90 it would have cost you $5.34.

Has anyone ever had the prior landlord request that all phone lines and internet cables be removed from the walls?

I was watching part of President Carter’s funeral and eulogies. With the Orange man in the room, knowing the turmoil and hate MAGA brings it almost seemed like a eulogy for decency and the America that I grew up in.

Does anyone feel like all is good but you are standing in a field of land mines?

I wonder how long the non-MAGAs who voted for him will hang on to the hope that he will reduce prices of all things. (Of courses deflation isn’t a good thing either)
How long until they regret the total daily chaos?
