In these early days of the monsterverse I really enjoyed the mysterious aesthetic of the MUTOs and Shinomura. Both earth bound creatures, but look so alien due to the specifics of the time they originated…

The blocking and dynamism of that issue is incredible. Yeah hero zero couldn’t hold his own series really at all. But too bad they didn’t make him more of a reoccurring supporting character in those dark horse Godzilla comics
