I've been keeping myself sane by being creative. I made a centerpiece for two upcoming events with a tea party theme. Made from dollar store planters. The "tea" is painted paper plates. I made the handles out of foam core.

It's National Twin Day today. Not a day goes by that I don't think of my twin sister who died 2 1/2 years ago of renal cell cancer (She's on the left. We were 11 yrs old in this photo). She's forever 60. 😢

Who needs a man to do the heavy lifting, not me! I managed to get the 95 lb. box in the house and then unboxed an 80 lb treadmill all by myself. I didn't break anything in the process. 😅

This ginger terror, Sedona, has managed to chew the mini bulbs off the lower branches. Her brother, Capote, just naps under the tree. Sedona is lucky she's so damn cute. It keeps her alive. 😅

My best friend's dog died today, and I'm here bawling my eyes out. She wasn't even my dog, but she was sweet and an extension of him. RIP Lena 😭

My executive chef daughter curated and cooked a special Viking inspired dinner for her restaurant. She was interviewed for the evening news last week & they were so impressed with her that they are doing a full feature segment on her in the coming weeks. Proud mom. ❤️

First post-op. The bone was broken into 5 pieces. The breaks on the bottom were hard to see on the original x-ray. In addition to plates & screws, Dr had to wrap the bone to keep it all together. Inflammed stitches. On antibiotics. Longer healing time 8-12 weeks.
