My thought is, there is damning evidence in the Epstein files about somebody else (an accomplice) and they have something really damning on Trump. The accomplice is putting pressure on Trump to not release the Epstein files.

Interesting framing from the NYT again. The "scandal" didn't upend her career, the "scandal" isn't responsible for anything. The NYT are pretending Nuzzi doesn't have any agency in this issue. Nuzzi upended her own career by having an affair, plain and simple, she is unethical and not newsworthy.

The tragedy is that superficially it does make sense much like the argument that "illegal" immigrants are taking your jobs. Of course, this argument overlooks the point that we wouldn't have those houses and relatively cheap goods without immigrant labor. Also, an extra person is not a extra burden.

NPR were playing this game this morning. Trying to claim that Biden "bragging" about the economy is the same as Trump bragging about the economy. No explainers, no context just bald false-equivalence, it's infuriating. This is how the media constantly legitimize Republican propaganda.

Indeed. I have friends complaining about the "feminization" of society, DEI and wokeness which is just right wing propaganda. Whereas the reality is we have a fascist government ACTUALLY in power. The "radical" left never were in positions of power. It's a weird delusion.

What an absolutely terrible example. The Iraq invasion was obviously wrong because the actual experts in the field told us it was wrong. There was a mountain of evidence the Bush administration were lying. Also, they were not the country responsible for 9/11 yet Bush tried to connect them.
