There are plenty of individuals who would like to destroy what is human around us and within us. What happened in Germany could happen again, right here in the United States. All it took was for one party in the German government to gain control of the news media, which controlled the narrative.

Czeslawa, terrified and beaten, did not speak the language of the executioner and her mother had been murdered just a few days before. She was one of around 250,000 children murdered in Auschwitz-Birkenau.

This is Czeslawa Kwoka. She was 14 years old when she was executed in Auschwitz on February 18, 1943, with an injection of phenol directly into her heart. Just before her execution she was photographed by a fellow prisoner who later testified against her executioner.
