I was in the very back because I had to rebook last minute after my train was cancelled. When I was finally allowed to board I had to parade past almost everyone. I’ve never been more self conscious of how slowly I move with my crutches in my life than with a full plane staring daggers at me.

If it makes you feel better, at least you’re not the reason everyone is angry. When I flew to Paris last summer the airline didn’t know what to do with my ventilator and it caused the flight to be delayed nearly an hour.
